- Primary winding: The ignition coil is usually composed of a primary winding, an iron core and a secondary winding. The primary winding is connected to the power supply, converts the low-voltage DC signal into a magnetic field, and transmits it to the secondary winding through the conduction of the iron core.
- Iron core: The iron core is located between the primary winding and the secondary winding, and plays the role of conducting the magnetic field. The iron core is generally made of ferromagnetic material, which can effectively conduct the magnetic field and improve the energy conversion efficiency.
- Secondary winding: The secondary winding is connected to the spark plug, converting the magnetic field energy into a high-voltage pulse electrical signal, which is used to ignite the mixed gas in the spark plug. The number of turns of the secondary winding is more than that of the primary winding, so that the voltage is amplified.
- Insulating material:The inside of the ignition coil is insulated with insulating material to avoid current leakage or short circuit, ensuring the normal operation and safety of the ignition coil.

- Metal Shell: The outer structure of the spark plug is usually a metal shell, which is used to fix and protect the internal components and form a safe connection with the cylinder head.
- Insulator: There is an insulator inside the spark plug, which is usually made of ceramic or ceramic. The insulator acts as an insulator inside the spark plug, preventing the current from being conducted through the spark plug shell to the cylinder head.
- Center Electrode: There is a center electrode inside the spark plug, which is usually made of nickel alloy or copper alloy. The top of the center electrode is exposed above the spark plug and is responsible for conducting high voltage current and generating sparks.
- Ground Electrode: There is also a ground electrode inside the spark plug, which is fixed in the spark plug shell. The ground electrode usually forms a gap with the center electrode, and sparks are generated through this gap to ignite the mixture.
- Spark Plug Cap:There is a metal cap on the top of the spark plug, which is usually fixed with screws. The spark plug cap protects the internal components of the spark plug from external environmental influences such as contamination and moisture.
